Engine

Kirloskar make 25 HP at 1500 rpm (Air cooled - Diesel engine) are a standard on all ASTECH bitumen sprayers.

Highlights of the engine are that it is highly efficient and low in terms of fuel consumption and maintenance.
There is a safety grill provided to prevent any mishaps during operation.

Compressor

Ingersoll Rand compressor gives an output of 3 HP with discharge pressure 150 PSIG and 11.25 CFM

Bitumen Pump

Johnson/ ASTECH make Bitumen Pumps are used depending upon the customers requirement. Both the pumps are highly reliable and designed to give better performance.

Both the pumps have pressure relief valve that prevents any pipeline damage in case of a line blockage. Pressure setting allows to work with different desired pressure. To get superior Bitumen spraying, keep the ideal pressure to 3 Bar

Burner

Bitumen Burner supplies with our sprayers are extremely low on fuel consumption at 7-9 lit./hr. (at 1 kg. air pressure).

The burner is compatible with Diesel. LDO and Kerosene.

Spray Bar and Spray Nozzle

ASTECH make Bitumen Sprayers are equipped with spray bar that have a total of 19 uniform spraying spraying nozzles.

Length of spray bar is 2.4 mtrs. and 4.2 mtrs. when extended.
Total spraying width is maximum 4.5 mtrs. when the spray bar is fully extended. We guarantee zero leakage in the entire spray bar. The circulation system is designed to assist free flow of Bitumen.

Pneumatic Cylinder

Pneumatic system controls the movement of spray bar nozzles. It is conveniently located near the operator seat.

Moisture separator in the pipe lines increase the life of cylinder. There is a pressure regulator combined with the moisture separator which is used for control of pneumatic pressure. Hand lever valve which is used for open-close of cylinder is low on maintenance.
